How to improve Instagram Engagement

One of the factors that affects how your Instagram post performs in the algorithm is how people engage with your Instagram content
What I personally find the most important is to build you unique image online. People are tired of “plastic” corporate and they are keen to see smth more real online.
Tell your story.
Engage them with this story. Give them pleasure to observe you.
The more comments, likes, shares, and DMs your posts get, the more likely it will be ranked as quality content and it could be displayed to wider audiences on the explore page.

1. Complete your Instagram bio
A good Instagram bio explains what’s your core business. A good idea is to speaks directly to your target audience. Using emoji makes description easier to read and more memorable

Essentially, there are two key elements:

  1. Account handle Consider: is the name easy to write/pronounce/understand?

  • A Top Post once a week

  • Instagram rewards people who use their app consistently (makes sense, right?)
  • People will remember you if they see you all the time in their home feed and Insta Stories
  • If you’re not consistent Instagram will not show your new posts that often in your followers’ home feed

4. Add a location every time you post
Tag the actual building, business, venue, or other small area.

5. Reply to your DMs, Always reply to the comments
This step is essential. Keeping a relationship with your followers is very important

  • What people feel about a certain topic: “What do you think about the new Instagram algorithm?

Instagram Stories is the BEST way to get clicks and page views to your website from Instagram.
If you want people to click through to your website, you need to create anticipation.

It helps your audience understand HOW clicking your link will answer their questions or solve a problem.
(Remember: people always want to know what’s in it for them.)

Here’s how:
Make the first Story of your Highlight a call-to-action asking your followers to click on the link in your bio.
Next, create a few Stories that share more information about the products or the blog post.
Wrap up this Highlight with yet another C-T-A to click the link in your bio.
Have a new link in your bio to feature? You can delete the original Stories from your Highlight once you have a new set of Stories and a link to promote. Just don’t forget to add in the new Stories to your Highlight after removing the old ones!
